The National Democratic Congress (NDC) senatorial candidate for Kogi East, Chief Peter Ameh, has thrown his weight behind the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, describing him as a disciplined leader with a proven record of prudence and accountability in public office.
Speaking during an interview on a Symphoni Television on Friday, June 26, 2026, Ameh argued that Obi’s track record in managing public resources distinguishes him from many Nigerian politicians and makes him the best candidate to lead the country in the 2027 general election.
