Odumeje stirs reactions as he gives ailing church member ₦500,000
Popular cleric Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere a.k.a Odumeje has stirred reactions online after making humorous remarks about poverty before gifting a church member ₦500,000.
During a church service, Odumeje jokingly told the congregant that he was suffering from a condition he called “Tinubu,” which he described as poverty and hardship.
The cleric further remarked that not everyone who comes to church necessarily needs prayers, suggesting that some people are simply struggling financially and need practical assistance.
In a moment that drew laughter from members of the congregation, Odumeje quipped that a church member who had fallen during prayers may have done so because of hunger rather than spiritual causes. He then proceeded to bless the individual with ₦500,000.
He said …
“You are suffering from a sickness called ‘Tinubu’ that’s poverty. Sometimes, not everybody who comes to church needs prayers; some people are actually hungry. Mr pastor that thing you did to a church member and he fell, it’s hunger that fell him. What this man needs is food manicure”

But not by praying alone and use all their little tokens they earn to pay unnecessary fees at churches and start waiting for miracle”
