Nollywood actress and filmmaker Ruth Kadiri has dismissed reports claiming she died, reassuring her fans that she is alive, healthy and safe.
The actress addressed the rumours on Sunday after messages alleging her death circulated across social media platforms, causing concern among her followers.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, Kadiri confirmed that the reports were false and urged the public to disregard any unverified information about her.
“Please note that I am alive. I did not have any accident, and I am safe,” she said.
The filmmaker also appealed to her fans to report accounts spreading the false claims to prevent the rumours from gaining further attention.
The death hoax comes as Kadiri continues to focus on her filmmaking projects, including her latest series, Once Upon a Village, which has been gaining traction among her online audience.
Ruth Kadiri recently released Episode 5 of the series on her digital platform, RuthKadiri247, featuring actors such as Henrietta Ibekwe and Deza The Great.
