Nedu speaks up on rising cost of living

Controversial Nigerian media personality, Nedu Wazobia, has spoken up regarding the rising cost of living in the country, stating that survival has become a daily battle.

While speaking in a recent video, Nedu spoke about the cost of basic necessities, including school fees, house rent, food, transportation, fuel and healthcare.

He claimed that most Nigerians find it hard to survive despite earning salaries due to the financial demands they face, adding that some people have resorted to participating in immoral activities just to make ends meet.

“People are doing things they never imagined they will do, hurting people, betraying people, cutting corners, not necessarily because they were born wicked but because survival has become a daily battle in this our country. We just want an economy where working hard can actually mean something, where a parent can provide for their children without stress and where ordinary Nigerians can wake up tomorrow with little less fear and a little more hope. At least we deserve that,” he stated.
