Speaking during the interview, Shank explained that he believes many men are capable of separating their emotions from their actions.
“I feel like men can multitask. They can love you and still cheat on you. I think they love you enough not to… I don’t think the cheating is trying to hurt you; you get me? But you get hurt in the process”
The comedian suggested that while cheating may not always be intended to cause pain, emotional consequences often follow.
As he continued explaining his position, Shank acknowledged that his argument might not make sense to everyone.
“The more I try to explain this, the more I’m sounding crazy… But yeah, the truth is that men can love you and still like cheating,” he stated.
The remarks quickly attracted attention online, with some people agreeing that feelings and actions do not always align, while others strongly disagreed with the comedian’s perspective.
The discussion has added to ongoing conversations about trust, loyalty and commitment in modern relationships, with many social media users sharing differing opinions on whether genuine love can exist alongside infidelity.
