Lady Gaga and her fiancé Michael Polansky reportedly welcomed their first child together via a surrogate.
According to TMZ, the 40-year-old singer’s daughter, named Rose Bean Polansky, was born on June 9 at 11.19 pmm at Los Angeles’s famed Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, with the pair opting to use a surrogate.
While the reason for surrogacy remains unclear, the hitmaker has long been open about her battle with fibromyalgia, a condition that causes severe pain and exhaustion
A birth certificate obtained by TMZ revealed the sex and name of the couple’s newborn child, as well as details about her birth.
The child was delivered by Dr Robert Katz, an OB/GYN who also delivered Ciara and Russell Wilson’s daughter , Sienna Princess.
The name Rose has a connection to Gaga, whose maternal grandmother is the late Veronica Rose ‘Ronnie’ Ferrie Bissett.
She also has the name of her song from A Star Is Born, La Vie En Rose, tattooed down her spine.
Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, and Polansky have been together since 2019 and became engaged in April 2024.
