Klintoncod Slams Cubana Chief Priest For Flaunting Wealth At Alexx Ekubo Burial

Nigerian comedian Klintoncod has slammed celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest over his conduct during the burial of late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo.

In a video shared on X, Klintoncod criticised Cubana Chief Priest for allegedly showing off his wealth while many people were grieving the actor’s death.

The comedian said he was disappointed that, instead of sharing moments that reflected the mood of the occasion, Cubana Chief Priest chose to post videos featuring his Rolls Royce, G-Wagon, private jet, expensive meals and luxurious lifestyle.

According to Klintoncod, the post came across as insensitive, especially at a time when Alexx Ekubo’s family, friends and colleagues were mourning.

He said “This might be the most insensitive video I have ever made, but I have to say it.

“We just lost Alexx Ekubo, a talented actor, and people are mourning. The only video you could bring out is your Rolls Royce, G-Wagon, private jet, food and lifestyle.”

Klintoncod also wondered why none of Cubana Chief Priest’s close associates advised him against sharing such content during a funeral.

He stressed that there is an appropriate time for celebration and another for mourning, arguing that burial ceremonies should not become occasions for seeking attention or gaining social media clout.

The comedian further expressed surprise at the number of public figures who reacted positively to the post, saying their response made him question the kind of people surrounding the celebrity.
