Nigeria’s Ambassador-designate to Mexico, Reno Omokri, has responded to a social media user who criticized him for visiting a game reserve amid the country’s economic challenges.

The exchange began after Omokri shared photographs from his visit to the Yankari Game Reserve, where he observed lions and other wildlife species. Posting a picture from the reserve, Omokri wrote: “I survived my encounter with Lions today.”
