‘I’m a woman, I get wet’ – BBNaija housemate Goddessa opens up about her sexuality

By Nehru Odeh

The conversation around relationships and attraction took a candid turn in the Big Brother Naija Season 11 house on Wednesday as housemate Goddessa openly discussed her sexuality and what she considers necessary for maintaining a close relationship with a man.

Speaking with fellow housemate Abi during a conversation about her relationship with male housemate Araga, the Abia-born musician said she wanted him to remain a constant presence in her life, even if romance was not part of the equation.

According to Goddessa, setting boundaries would be essential because of how easily she becomes sexually attracted.

“I’m a woman, I get wet. I want you in my life as a constant. So, in order for that to work, you and I might have to have boundaries.”

Explaining further, she said physical intimacy was not always necessary for her to become aroused.

“I’m a woman, I get wet. And I don’t get wet only when you have to put your hands inside. Bro, if you just rub your legs sef… you can even just talk to me and just breathe.”

Goddessa also stressed that she was not interested in forcing a romantic relationship with Araga, saying she would rather maintain an honest friendship than pretend to have feelings she did not.

She admitted that if she were asked to rate the possibility of pursuing a romantic relationship with him, she would decline, describing any attempt to force such a relationship as “self-sabotage.”

The conversation has since sparked reactions on social media, with many viewers praising her honesty while others debated her comments about attraction, boundaries and relationships.

Goddessa, whose real name is Lovette Okechukwu, is one of the contestants in the ongoing Big Brother Naija Season 11, themed Show Ya Sef. She hails from Abia State and is a fast-rising musician who entered the reality show describing herself as bold, spontaneous and unapologetically authentic.

Before joining the house, she said she intended to use the BBNaija platform to showcase her music and entertain audiences across Africa. Since the season began, she has established herself as one of the house’s most outspoken personalities, earning attention for her confidence, candid conversations and growing bond with fellow housemates, particularly Araga.

Her latest remarks to Abi are expected to further fuel conversations among fans as viewers continue to monitor the evolving dynamics between the two housemates.
