IGP Disu Redeploys Placid, Appoints New Police Spokesperson

The Inspector General of Police, Tunji Disu, has approved the appointment of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Isuku Victor as the new Force Public Relations Officer.

IGP Disu also approved the immediate redeployment of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Anthony Okon Placid to the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja.

Naija News reports that the high-profile reshuffles are part of an administrative shake-up in the Nigeria Police.

Until his latest appointment, Victor was the Officer-in-Charge of the Complaints Response Unit (CRU).

​The administrative changes were officially conveyed via a Police Wireless Message signed by the Force Secretary and circulated to all relevant departments, commands, and formations of the Nigeria Police Force nationwide.
