A shocking and tragic video making the rounds on social media has left many Nigerians stunned, as a young internet fraudster (popularly known as a “Yahoo boy”) allegedly murdered his own mother for money rituals, acquired a Mercedes-Benz GLE, and then reportedly ran mad while heading out to celebrate his new car with friends.

According to the viral reports and accompanying clips, the unidentified young man is said to have carried out the heinous act on the instruction of ritualists in a bid to boost his fraudulent activities and acquire sudden wealth. He reportedly succeeded in purchasing the luxury SUV shortly after.

Eyewitness accounts and the circulating video claim that while driving the brand-new GLE to meet his friends for a celebration, the young man suddenly lost his mind, displaying signs of insanity on the road. In the footage, he is seen behaving erratically, with some versions suggesting he was ranting incoherently about his late mother.
