Omoyele Sowore, the African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, in a video posted on his official YouTube page on Friday June 5, 2026, spoke about his relationship with Yoruba nation agitator Sunday Igboho and addressed comments that had previously caused disagreement between them.
Sowore explained that he had no personal issues with Igboho until the activist made remarks suggesting that individuals who were not supporting President Bola Tinubu should not be allowed to campaign.
The AAC presidential candidate noted that the disagreement had since been resolved following direct communication between both men. He said Igboho reached out to him and clarified the statement that had generated controversy.
