Group Of University Students Practicing Occultism In Broad Daylight On Campus During Lectures Hours Trend
A video allegedly showing a group of students at Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rivers State, engaging in what appears to be a cult-related activity has sparked reactions online.
In the footage circulating on social media, the students were seen gathered in a formation, standing opposite each other with their arms crossed while chanting words that could not be clearly identified.
The group reportedly continued the activity for some time, changing the chants repeatedly.
One of the individuals, who appeared to be a leader figure, was later seen walking through the line as the others hailed him.
The incident has generated discussions among social media users, with some expressing disappointment and questioning why some students would allegedly abandon their academic responsibilities for activities linked to cultism.
Others claimed that secret societies and cult-related activities on Nigerian university campuses are an open secret, calling on school authorities and security agencies to take stronger measures to address the issue.
However, the authenticity and context of the video, as well as whether the individuals involved are students of Ignatius Ajuru University or whether the activity was cult-related, have not been independently verified.
School authorities have not yet released an official statement regarding the footage.
