The FOOG Women Support Group for Tinubu has endorsed the reelection of Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, claiming that the President’s governance and economic reforms have established a strong basis for Nigeria’s long-term development and prosperity.

The endorsement was given on Thursday at the Prest Royal Center in Warri, Delta State, during a conference and empowerment program for women in the Warri Federal Constituency.

Speaking at the function, Chief Esther Okotie-Eboh, Director-General of FOOG, praised Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe for founding the FOOG group, pointing out that its goal is to rally support for Governor Oborevwori’s administration and President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Noting that the elimination of fuel subsidies, exchange rate unification, and other economic policies have raised government revenue, enhanced investor confidence, and increased federal payments to states, she recommended that Nigerians elect President Tinubu to a second term in order to solidify existing reforms.

“Leadership is about growth, not perfection. After decades of poor leadership, implementing reforms is never simple, but President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown the guts to take on Nigeria’s most difficult problems head-on, he added.

The foundation for sustainable economic growth and national development, she claimed, was being laid by investments in roads, rail transportation, energy, local government autonomy, agriculture, education, healthcare, and youth development.

In order to mitigate the impact of economic reforms on poor Nigerians, the FOOG Director-General also praised social investment measures, tax reforms, and intervention programs for small enterprises.

She insisted that President Tinubu’s leadership and experience had allowed him to make tough but essential choices for the nation, emphasizing that the continuing changes would have long-term advantages.

Reaffirming the group’s position, she said FOOG believes in continuity, stability and a better Nigeria, calling supporters to mobilise responsibly for the re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori in 2027.

According to Okotie-Eboh, the empowerment program was set up to make sure that women especially the elderly were included in the group’s mobilization activities.

She clarified that many senior citizens complained of mobility issues during the group’s door-to-door campaign, which led the organization to give them metallic tripod walking sticks to help.

According to Okotie-Eboh, the outreach will also reach riverine areas, with group members visiting villages to make sure women and senior citizens benefited from the empowerment initiative.

giant cooking pots, giant coolers, industrial gas cookers, and metallic tripod walking sticks for senior women were among the gifts given to more than 200 women from within the Warri Federal Constituency.

The group also thanked Hon. Daniel Reyenieju, a former member of the House of Representatives, for his support of the organization and for making the empowerment program a success.
