Flee from men who have sweet tongues – Pastor Adeboye

Cleric Enoch Adeboye has advised women to be cautious of men who use excessive flattery, warning that such behavior can be misleading.
Sharing a personal story from his younger days, he recounted how he once used charming and poetic compliments to impress a woman.

According to him, the woman suddenly walked away, a reaction he said he only understood later after becoming born again.
He explained that constant praise focused on physical appearance can be a red flag, urging women to distance themselves from such situations rather than entertain them.
His words in part …
“I was a bad boy before I got born again. Something happened I only understood after I became born again. There was this very very beautiful lady and I was making some plans. I said hello lady and she smiled of course. The next thing I said your teeth are as white as snow and she smiled further. Then looking at your eyes is like taking a look at full moon. My oh my. Your skin is polished Ebony.
All of a sudden she did something strange. She turned round and began to run. I said what’s wrong with you? Why are you running.
Now I know. The Bible says flee. When a brother comes and begins to talk about your b0dy l!ke catfish in water. This and that, run….”
