“Instead of you to join church, you’re clubbing with Gen Zs” – Lady advises single women in their 30s

A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after sharing her opinion about women in their 30s who still go clubbing.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she stated that single women between the ages of 30 and 35 should focus more on “purposeful” environments rather than nightlife.

“I dey pity all these 30–35 years old women going to clubs to dance with Gen Zs. Instead of them to consider joining a church ministry, maybe God will bless them with a husband there. They’re following girls in their 20s and dancing,” she said.

According to her, priorities should change with age, suggesting that women in that stage of life should be more intentional about marriage and settling down instead of keeping up with younger party lifestyles.

She further advised them to join a church ministry, claiming it could increase their chances of meeting potential partners such as church members or assistant pastors.

Her statement has stirred debate on social media, with many people questioning her perspective on age, lifestyle, and relationships.

While some agreed with her stance on settling down and prioritising marriage, others argued that women are free to enjoy their lives regardless of age.

Many reactions have followed her comment. “Who set this rule abeg? 30 is still young jare” 😩. Another added. “Not everything is about marriage. Rest.”
