A fresh political battle is brewing within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and this time, two of the party’s biggest power players are at the center of the storm.

Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has launched a blistering attack on Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, vowing that the latter will face serious political consequences in the coming elections.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, the outspoken former governor did not hold back as he accused Makinde of undermining party structures and betraying political trust.

In remarks that have already sparked reactions across the political landscape, Fayose declared that Makinde would soon learn a difficult political lesson.

“If you respect me, you will enjoy my support and everything I stand for. But if you disrespect me, you will see another side of Fayose. I’m not a politician anyone can take for granted,” he said.

The former governor alleged that Makinde dismantled the PDP structure in the South-West and sidelined loyal party stakeholders in the process.
