Did Gold Trump Statue In Florida Get Vandalized, Trashed? Viral 'Covered In Garbage' Image Factchecked

A viral image circulating on social media claiming that a golden statue of US President Donald Trump at his Doral golf resort in Florida was vandalized or trashed appears to be fake. The image, widely shared on X, Facebook, and TikTok, showed the giant statue allegedly dismembered and lying near its pedestal at Trump’s Doral National Golf Club in Miami. Some versions of the viral claim also suggested the statue had been covered in garbage.
