Delta APC Reps Primaries Hold Peacefully as Oborevwori, Onyeme Commend Process

Sheriff Oborevwori and Deputy Governor Monday Onyeme have commended the peaceful conduct of the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives primary elections across Delta State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking after voting in Okpe Local Government Area during the Okpe/Sapele/Uvwie Federal Constituency primary, Oborevwori described the exercise as orderly and transparent.He said the turnout of party members reflected growing support for the APC in the state and urged members to sustain the spirit of unity ahead of the general elections.

Onyeme, who voted in Ndokwa West Local Government Area during the Onicha-Ukwuani primary, praised the party’s use of the Option A4 voting system, describing it as transparent and accountable.

Several aspirants emerged winners in their constituencies, including Hon. Ramson Onoyake in Okpe/Sapele/Uvwie, Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi in Ndokwa/Ukwuani, and Ndudi Elumelu in Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency.

Others declared winners included Hon. Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu in Ethiope Federal Constituency, Hon. Ejiro Waive in Ughelli North/Ughelli South/Udu, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko in Isoko Federal Constituency, Emmanuel Osazuwa in Ika Federal Constituency and Hon. Julius Pondi in Burutu Federal Constituency.

Chairman of the National Assembly Primaries Committee for Delta State, Rt. Hon. Eugene Odo, also commended party members for the peaceful and orderly conduct of the exercise across the state.No incidents of violence were reported during the primaries.
