Delivery Rider Falls Into Decorative Hotel Pool After Mistaking It for the Floor

A delivery rider accidentally walked into a decorative pool inside a hotel after apparently mistaking it for the floor.

The incident reportedly happened at a hotel in Xinjiang, China.

Security footage shows the rider entering the hotel while carrying a delivery.

The shallow water feature had a dark surface that looked similar to the surrounding floor.

The rider stepped into the pool and immediately lost his balance.

Water splashed around him as he struggled to get back on his feet.

He eventually climbed out of the pool with his delivery bag.

However, he slipped again while walking across the wet marble floor.

People nearby rushed to assist him.

No serious injury has been reported.

Reports claim the rider was unfamiliar with the hotel and did not see any clear warning around the pool.

The hotel has since placed warning signs near the water feature to prevent a similar incident.

The 23-second video has attracted more than 8.1 million views and 373,000 likes on TikTok.
