Dayo Amusa responds to criticism over movie promotion following Ogogo’s death

Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has reacted to the criticism she received after promoting her new movie while fans and colleagues were mourning the death of Yoruba movie veteran Taiwo Hassan.

The actress in a new video, explained the initial post, revealing that it was not made deliberately to disregard the veteran actor’s death.

Amusa stressed that the video had been scheduled in advance, adding that she thought of taking it down after it went live but it had already generated massive engagement.

“I came to see which post it was, then I saw which one it was. Wanting to take it off, I realized that it had generated hundred thousands of comments and all that. Seeing some of the comments, the insults, people cursing on me over a post that had been scheduled even long before we go the news of uncle Ogogo,” she stated.
