BREAKING: Trump Must stay Focused, End The Regime, Pave The Way To Freedom For Iranian People” — Reza Safa
According to a video on CBN News, on Thursday June 4, 2026, Reza Safa, an Iranian-born Christian broadcaster and former Muslim, offered his clearest and most direct political statement yet, calling on President Donald Trump to remain firm in his approach toward Iran and not allow diplomatic negotiations or outside pressure to dilute the goal of ending the Islamic regime.
Safa’s perspective carries the weight of personal experience.
He grew up in Iran as a devout Shia Muslim, returned home to witness the 1979 Islamic Revolution, and then fled to Sweden where he encountered Christianity through two local missionaries.
His conversion was not just religious. It reshaped his entire political and cultural worldview.
He went on to found TBN Nejat TV, a Christian channel broadcasting in Farsi into Iran and across the Middle East, through which he remains connected to the daily realities facing Iranians under the current regime.
Speaking to CBN’s Kelly Wright, Safa acknowledged that the Trump administration is operating in a high-stakes environment, with ongoing military exchanges between the United States and Iran, diplomatic uncertainty, and questions about the direction of nuclear negotiations.
Against that backdrop, he delivered a pointed message to the president.
In his words, Reza Safa said, “As a supporter of the current military action against Iran, he believes President Trump must stay focused on ending the regime and paving the way to freedom for the Iranian people,” he said.
Safa also made clear that this is not simply a political matter to him.
He said he hears the cries of ordinary Iranians who are longing for freedom and that those voices make the stakes of any retreat or compromise deeply personal.
