BREAKING: Oyo: They Took Them Inside Bush To Nearby Reserve; No Houses, They’ve Been Wearing Same Clothe-Agune Tegba

A witness identified as Agune Tegba, has narrated the conditions under which abducted schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State were held by their captors. Speaking in an interview with Punch Newspaper, he said the victims were taken deep into a bush close to a forest reserve, far from any residential settlement.

According to him, the kidnappers kept the victims in a remote area with no houses or nearby communities, making it difficult for rescue efforts or tracking. He explained that the abducted children and their teachers were forced to remain in the forest throughout their captivity under harsh conditions.

“They took them inside the bush to a nearby reserve. There were no houses there, and they had been wearing the same clothes since they were abducted,” he said. His account highlights the harsh realities faced by the victims during the incident.

Tegba further stated that the victims had no access to basic comfort and were compelled to wear the same clothes for the entire period they were held. He described the environment as isolated and difficult to reach, adding that the terrain contributed to the delay in locating them.
