According to a report by Daily Post, on Friday June 26, 2026, political analyst and founding National Secretary of the Alliance for Democracy, Professor Udenta Udenta, has raised concerns over the actions of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during opposition party primaries held on May 30.
Udenta questioned why the electoral body intervened in the primary elections conducted by some opposition parties, according to him, the move by INEC has continued to generate debate about the commission’s neutrality and its handling of political activities involving parties outside the ruling government.
Udenta argued that the decision to halt the primaries was surprising, especially because political parties are expected to conduct their internal processes in line with electoral guidelines, he suggested that the intervention reflected a lack.....>>>
