BREAKING: Five ECWA Church Members Die in Road Accident While Travelling to Burial in Kaduna

Tragedy struck the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), Wuse II, Abuja, after five female members of the church lost their lives in a road accident while travelling to Southern Kaduna for a burial ceremony.

According to reports, the fatal crash occurred on Friday, July 10, 2026, as members of the church were on their way to Samaru Kataf to attend the burial of the mother of one of their members, Mrs. Avong.

The victims have been identified as Mrs. Naomi Barnabas, Mrs. Julie Ladan, Mrs. Grace (Gambo) Daniel Sati, Mrs. Esther Tukur, and Mrs. Theresa S. Gandu.

Several other members of the delegation reportedly sustained varying degrees of injuries in the accident and are currently receiving medical treatment.

The incident has thrown the ECWA Wuse II congregation into mourning, with members expressing shock and grief over the sudden loss of the five women.

Family members, friends, and fellow worshippers have also continued to pay tribute to the deceased while praying for the speedy recovery of those injured in the crash.

As of the time of filing this report, the circumstances surrounding the accident had not been officially disclosed, and authorities were yet to release further details regarding the cause of the crash.
