BREAKING: APC Primary Turnout Reflects Nigerians’ Faith In Democracy — Kano Deputy Gov

The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Murtala Garo, has described the massive turnout recorded during the presidential primary election of the All Progressives Congress as a reflection of renewed hope for the future of democracy in Nigeria.

Garo stated this shortly after participating in the APC presidential primary election held on Saturday in Kano State.

According to a statement issued on Saturday by his media aide, Aminu Dahiru, the deputy governor commended party members for the peaceful conduct, unity, and overwhelming support displayed during the exercise.

He said the large turnout and orderly conduct of the primary demonstrated growing public confidence in democratic processes and Nigerians’ commitment to actively participating in governance.

“The exercise was not just a political event; it was a demonstration of courage, vision and the collective desire to move Nigeria forward,” Garo said.

“The turnout we witnessed reflects hope for the future of Nigeria’s democracy and the readiness of citizens to support leadership that promises progress, development and national unity,” Garo added.

The deputy governor said he observed people from different backgrounds unite behind what he described as a shared commitment to the country’s future.

“I witnessed men and women from different backgrounds come together with one voice and one mission — to support leadership that promises progress, development and national unity,” he added.

Garo also expressed confidence in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying the outcome of the primary had renewed hope among many Nigerians.
