BBNaija: Araga, Abi break silence on life after leaving Reality Show

Former Big Brother Naija housemates Araga and Abi have opened up about their experiences on the reality show, personal growth and plans after leaving the house.

Speaking during an interview on Wednesday, Araga revealed that he did not find love during his time in the house, saying he is not a “lover boy.”

Reflecting on his experience, he described his stay in the house as “neutral,” noting that he values peace and a quiet environment.

Araga said he was able to remain level-headed by thinking about things that made him happy, adding that being calm is part of his personality and not a bad thing.

He also spoke about his relationship with fellow housemate Timi, explaining that he would confront him during disagreements because of their closeness. He added that Timi sometimes calls him “Big Daddy.”

Araga said he did not believe he needed to change his personality to fit into the competition.

He said fans should expect more from him outside the house, particularly in fashion modelling and acting, while also revealing plans to establish his own brand.

For Abi, however, her experience in the house was largely about personal growth.

She revealed that although she is an emotional person and cried several times in the house, the experience made her bolder.

According to her, she often felt targeted because whatever she said was sometimes countered by other housemates.

She, however, said she eventually learnt to respond confidently without constantly explaining or defending herself.

Asked what beauty means to her, Abi said beauty is simply being happy, adding that she does not concern herself with having the latest things.

Abi also spoke about spending her first wedding anniversary away from her husband while she was in the house.

She described the experience as difficult, particularly because she was serving as the Head of House at the time and had other responsibilities.

She, however, said she and her husband are planning to celebrate and have fun now that she is out of the house.

Addressing negative perceptions about her, Abi said the experience had helped her realise that the people close to her genuinely love her.

She added that she intends to distance herself from people who do not like her.

Looking ahead, Abi disclosed plans to venture into catering and explore opportunities to make money after the reality show.
