In a post shared on his social media page, Otedola said he spent a beautiful day at his Monaco residence with Dangote, whom he described as “Africa’s greatest industrialist.”

The chairman of Geregu Power also expressed confidence in Dangote’s growing business empire, referring to him as a “$200 billion man in the waiting.”

“A beautiful day at home in Monaco with my bestie, Africa’s greatest industrialist. $200 billion man in the waiting, Aliko Dangote. Friendship remains one of the greatest investments,” Otedola wrote.

The post has since attracted reactions from business leaders, admirers and social media users, many of whom praised the longstanding friendship between two of Nigeria’s most influential entrepreneurs.

Otedola and Dangote are regarded as leading figures in Africa’s business landscape, with interests spanning manufacturing, energy, infrastructure and other key sectors of the economy. Their relationship has often been cited as an example of strategic partnership and mutual support among top African business leaders.
