37 Ships Laden With Food, Fuel and Goods Set to Arrive Lagos Ports

According to the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), 37 ships carrying food supplies, fuel products, and other goods are expected to dock at the Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea, and Tincan Island ports in Lagos on Tuesday.

The ships are scheduled to berth between June 16 and June 23, according to information in the agency’s Daily Shipping Position.

The NPA reports that 24 of the inbound vessels are carrying frozen fish, bulk urea, petrol, condensate, bulk sugar, aviation fuel, general cargo, diesel, crude oil, and bulk wheat, while 13 of them are carrying containers filled with other items.

The authorities also revealed that eight ships and tankers had already reached the ports and were waiting to berth with cargo that included bulk fertilizer, diesel, crude oil, containers, general cargo, gasoline, aviation fuel, and petrol.

The Lekki Deep Sea Port, Apapa Port, and Tincan Island Port are now receiving a variety of commodities from 19 ships, including containers, frozen fish, gasoline, bulk urea, bulk gypsum, bulk sugar, bulk wheat, tug boats, and bulk gas.
