31-year-old NYSC member arrested over alleged s£xual abuse of 6-year-old girl in Delta (video)

A 31-year-old serving NYSC member and teacher at a private school off Jakpa Road in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State has been arrested and charged to court over the alleged s£xual abuse of a 6-year-old girl. 
The child, while being questioned, claimed that the corps member took her to his apartment within the school premises on three occasions when her mother arrived late to pick her up from school and s£xu@lly abused her. 
She also said he thre@tened her not to tell her mother. 
In a video shared online, the girl is heard giving her narration of the incident.
“He took me to his room when everyone was not around,” she said. 
“He put one thing in my vagi, he now put his pe£pee, he now said if I tell my mummy, that he will b£at me and he will deny.” 
Asked where the incident occurred, she replied, “in his room.” 
“He dragged me,” she added when asked how she got into his room. 
She was also asked if her classmates were not there and she replied, “No. That time everybody have already closed.” 
She added that her mother had not come to pick her at the time and her class teacher was also not around. 
The child claimed that after the act, the corps member used a “white handkerchief” to clean “bl**d” from her “pe£pee”. 
A medical examination allegedly showed that the child’s hymen was broken. 
A Delta-based activist who took up the case said the suspect was arraigned before High Court 1, Effurun, and remanded at the Warri Prison, Okere. 
The case was adjourned until September 18, 2026, pending the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) advice.
