2027: With Obi On Ballot, Tinubu Will Struggle; City Boys Will Find It Difficult In Southeast-Momodu

Dele Momodu, publisher of Ovation International and a prominent media entrepreneur, has predicted that President Bola Tinubu could face a difficult path to re-election in 2027 if Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), remains on the ballot.
Momodu made the remarks during an interview on Nevon HQ while assessing the possible outcome of the 2027 presidential election and the electoral strengths of leading political figures expected to shape the race.
Speaking during the interview, on Friday, 19 June, 2026, Momodu said, With Peter Obi on the ballot, Tinubu will have to struggle. The City Boys are going to find it very difficult to make any appreciable inroad into the Southeast.”.......>>>
