BREAKING: I Ask All Residents To Pay Their Taxes, Clear Your Ground Rent, Support Your Communities–Tinubu

According to a report by Daily Post on Friday, June 19, 2026, President Bola Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on Friday called on residents of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, to comply with the payment of taxes and ground rent as part of their civic obligations to government.

The appeal was made during the official commissioning of Collector Road CN2, also known as Emmanuel Ogala Boulevard, which stretches from Arterial Road N16 (Yemi Osinbajo Way) to Arterial Road N20 (Wole Soyinka Way), including ILS.5 within Katampe District.
