You can fly with whatever narrative you’re being fed with at the moment – Nigerian man says as he announces end of his 3-year marriage

A Nigerian man, David Ogechukwu, has publicly announced the end of his 3-year-marriage. 

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, David stated that the decision to part ways was mutual and that he and his wife, Chiamaka, are moving forward with grace, gratitude and faith.

He also requested public understanding during this difficult time, particularly from those who might feel disappointed in him.

David added that people are free to believe whatever narrative they are currently being fed until he is ready to speak out.

“It’s The End Of The Road: Not all journeys end the way we hoped, but every chapter teaches us,” he wrote.

Moving forward with grace, gratitude and faith.

We have made the mutual decision to part ways, and we ask for your understanding during this time, especially those that will be so disappointed in me.
 

The 3 years marriage between Chiamaka and I has come to an abrupt end.
