A woman has generated widespread reactions on social media after publicly sharing what she described as a divine warning to her husband, claiming that God revealed severe consequences if he engages in sexual relationships outside their marriage.

In a series of posts that have gone viral, the woman identified her husband as Franklin Chimaobim Nwanorue and shared his photograph alongside a lengthy message urging him to take what she described as God’s warning seriously.

According to her, the message had already been delivered to her husband privately, but he allegedly failed to heed it, prompting her to make it public so that family members, friends and others who care about him could draw his attention to it.

She claimed that God intended to facilitate her husband’s relocation to Canada but had attached a condition that he must remain sexually faithful to his wife.

The woman alleged that any act of infidelity with another woman or man would result in immediate and shameful death.

She further claimed that if her husband violated the alleged divine instruction, both he and the person involved would die together and that the circumstances of their deaths would become public.

Reflecting on their marriage, she stated that she had remained faithful throughout their more than 11 years together, saying she had never been involved romantically with another man despite enduring what she described as years of hardship, sacrifice and persistent prayers to preserve the marriage.

According to her, she believes God has now taken control of their marital journey and will ensure its successful outcome.

She also declared that she would not allow another woman to benefit from the sacrifices she had made in the marriage or become a second wife to her husband while she is alive.

The woman further insisted that divorce was not an option and stated that only death could separate them.

In the same message, she listed the qualities she desired in her marriage, including love, joy, peace, respect, trust, appreciation, unity, forgiveness, mutual understanding, effective communication, spiritual partnership and support.

She also called on her husband to embrace Christianity wholeheartedly, love her, care for their children and fulfil his responsibilities as both a husband and father.

In another section of the post, she offered prayers against anyone she believed sought to profit from her suffering, declaring that such plans would fail.

The viral message was followed by additional posts in which she continued to warn her husband.

In one of the follow-up posts, she wrote that no one should hide under the institution of marriage while engaging in wrongdoing, adding that it was impossible to reject God while expecting to enjoy His blessings.

She also stated that ignoring what she described as a warning of impending death would be foolish.

In another post, the woman described herself as “a no-nonsense Christian with a holy anger,” adding that she believed her mission was to confront evil and wickedness.

The posts have attracted significant attention across social media platforms, with users expressing a wide range of opinions.

While some commenters sympathised with the woman and suggested the messages reflected deep marital frustration and a desire for faithfulness, others questioned whether such deeply personal matters should be aired publicly.

Others also cautioned against interpreting personal claims of divine revelation as established fact, noting that the authenticity of the woman’s assertions cannot be independently verified.
