Why Tinubu Has Earned The Right To Sleep With Two Eyes Closed – Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has boasted that President Bola Tinubu sleeps peacefully because of the impact of his administration’s work in the nation’s capital and across Nigeria.

Naija News reports that the minister stated this during the official inauguration of Arterial Road N5 in Abuja on Wednesday.

He dared any FCT resident who has not felt the positive outcome of Tinubu’s government in the FCT to come forward.

Wike said that if good leadership and reforms are the true measures of electoral success, then the Tinubu administration has already made a strong impression in the Federal Capital Territory.

He said: “If we truly believe that good governance is what will make people want to bring you back to office, then I don’t think Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu should be sleeping with one eye open. No, he should sleep with both eyes closed.

“I challenge anyone in this FCT to come forward and say they do not feel the presence of government or see its impact.

“When we were working on this road, and thank God it is good to come out and see what is happening instead of staying in the office, Julius Berger was facing a challenge.

“The community said the company would not proceed with the road project because they had not been compensated for the demolition.”
