Why I don’t want to be Nigerian – Rapper Azealia Banks

American rapper Azealia Banks has opened up on the reason behind her dislike for Nigerians. While speaking about Africa and how certain countries treat black Americans on her X handle, the rapper claimed that Nigerians tend to be cold-hearted.

Azealia added that some other African countries are more receptive of Black Americans. She lauded Ghana for their kindness, stressing her pride in her Ghanaian heritage.

“I don’t want to be Nigerian because Nigerian people are cold-hearted and push black Americans away,” she stated.

Despite the backlash her post received, Azealia Banks refused to back down and instead continued trolling Nigerians.
