What will I use light to do? I prefer Nigeria – Grandmother living in America expresses deep longing to return home (video)

An elderly Igbo woman in the United States has said she prefers living in Nigeria than her current abode. 

In a video recorded by her daughter, the woman who was obviously homesick, expressed deep longing to return to Nigeria. 

Despite her daughter listing some ‘perks’ of living in America, including steady power supply, air conditioner and a comfortable environment, the elderly woman chose Nigeria.

“What will I use light and air conditioner to do? All I need in Nigeria is to be with my fellow women. If there are places to visit, we do so together. I don’t need anything here,” she said.
