“We’ve Reduced The Prices Of The Ghana Jerseys, They Now Sell For GH¢15, GH¢6, GH¢5, and GH¢3 — Jersey Vendor Announce After Ghana’s World Cup Exit

A jersey vendor has announced a dramatic reduction in the prices of Ghana national team jerseys following the Black Stars’ elimination from the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with some jerseys now selling for as low as GH¢3.

The vendor, who was filmed displaying the jerseys alongside the new price list, announced that the items now sell at GH¢15, GH¢6, GH¢5, and GH¢3 respectively, a significant markdown from the prices commanded during the tournament when demand for Black Stars merchandise was at its peak.

The price crash reflects the familiar post-tournament reality for jersey traders across Ghana, whose stock highly sought after during the World Cup period, rapidly loses commercial value once the national team exits the competition.

Ghana were eliminated from the 2026 FIFA World Cup after finishing third in Group H, having beaten Panama 1-0, drawn 0-0 with England, and losing 2-1 to Croatia, before falling to Colombia in the Round of 16.
