A performance by comedian Peter Kay was abruptly halted after police evacuated Utilita Arena Birmingham following the discovery of a “potential suspicious bag.” The show had begun at 8 PM and was around 45 minutes in when it was suddenly cut short. According to reports from inside the venue, Kay was quickly escorted off stage, and a member of the production team later informed the audience that the performance would not continue.
