VIDEO: Amaechi Visits Atiku As ADC VP Talks Intensify

Former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has visited the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, in Abuja.

Naija News understands that the meeting came as discussions over the choice of Atiku’s running mate for the 2027 presidential election intensified.

Atiku emerged as the ADC presidential candidate after defeating Amaechi and former economic adviser Mohammed Hayatu-Deen at the party’s presidential primary.

Since the primary, attention has shifted to the selection of a vice-presidential candidate who can strengthen the party’s national appeal ahead of the general election.

Amaechi remains one of the leading names reportedly being considered for the position.

The closed-door meeting is expected to fuel further speculation over the ADC’s running mate calculations ahead of 2027.
