Victor Osimhen to PSG? Big-money transfer depends on one crucial condition
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly considering a major summer move for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, but the transfer could depend on one important condition involving Gonçalo Ramos.
According to reports from Spain, PSG manager Luis Enrique is keen to strengthen his attacking options ahead of next season and sees Osimhen as an ideal fit for his system.
The French champions are believed to be searching for a physically dominant striker with intensity, pace, and proven goal-scoring ability — qualities Osimhen has consistently displayed throughout his career.
The Nigerian international has continued to impress during his time at Galatasaray, attracting interest from several top European clubs with his explosive pace, intelligent movement, strength, and clinical finishing.
However, PSG’s pursuit of the striker is reportedly tied to the future of Portuguese forward Gonçalo Ramos.
Ramos has attracted interest from clubs including Juventus, AC Milan, and Aston Villa, and his possible departure could open up space in PSG’s squad for Osimhen.
Financially, the transfer may prove difficult to complete.
Galatasaray are believed to value Osimhen at around €150 million due to his importance to the team and his consistent performances, while PSG are reportedly hoping to negotiate a deal closer to €100 million.
Despite the gap in valuation, PSG still reportedly view Osimhen as a long-term strategic signing capable of leading their attack for years.
His previous experience in Ligue 1 with Lille is also considered an advantage, as it could help him settle quickly if he eventually returns to France.
