Valet moves to collect $1m judgment from Quavo

A Las Vegas valet who sued American rapper Quavo for assault and battery has begun moves to collect more than $1 million awarded to him by a court.

According to TMZ, Antonio Henry, who accused the Migos rapper of slapping him, has filed fresh papers in Georgia in a bid to enforce the judgment earlier granted in Nevada.

Henry had sued Quavo in 2020 over an incident he said happened in 2018 while he was working as a valet at the Encore Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

He claimed that he was trying to break up a fight when Quavo allegedly slapped him.

The valet said he suffered both physical and emotional injuries from the incident.

Quavo, however, denied any wrongdoing in the case.

The matter later went to trial, where the court ordered Quavo to pay Henry more than $650,000 in compensatory and punitive damages.

With interest and attorney fees added, the total judgment is said to have risen to more than $1.1 million.

Henry has now taken the matter to Georgia as part of efforts to recover the money from the rapper.
