Uzor Arukwe opens up on work experience with Funke Akindele

Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has opened up on his work experience with filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele. While speaking during an interview with E-Splash, the actor described working with Akindele as a blessing.

He noted that she regularly compliments his acting skills and expresses appreciation for his work. Arukwe also explained that can be demanding when it comes to acting and expects actors to know their craft.

He described her as one of the best filmmakers and a good teacher, saying he values the opportunity to learn from her whenever they work together.

“Every time Funke Akindele calls me, it’s always a blessing. She’s always commending my acting skills, saying she loves my work, and then I felt like putting down her words on my CV. It’s always a privilege every time she calls me for a movie role. She’s one of the best filmmakers and a great teacher, but one thing about her is that she doesn’t have patience for those who don’t know how to act,” he stated.
