Two Secondary School Students Expelled After Alleged Misconduct Involving a Female Student in Akwa Ibom School

Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria – Two secondary school students have been expelled from a school in Akwa Ibom State following allegations of serious misconduct involving a female student within the school premises.

The incident reportedly occurred in a secluded part of the school environment during school hours. According to Video record and preliminary information, the students were accused of inappropriate behaviour toward a fellow student, prompting immediate attention from school authorities after the matter was brought to light.

School sources said the situation was discovered after concerns were raised by other students, leading staff members to quickly intervene, separate those involved, and restore order within the school.

Following an internal review, the school management confirmed the expulsion of the two students, describing the incident as a violation of the institution’s code of conduct and disciplinary standards.

The school reiterated its commitment to maintaining a safe and disciplined learning environment, stressing that it has zero tolerance for any form of misconduct that undermines student safety or school regulations.

“The safety and welfare of all students remain our highest priority. We are committed to ensuring discipline and proper conduct within the school environment at all times,” a school representative said.

The expelled students have since been handed over to their guardians, while further action is expected to depend on any external review or official investigation by relevant authorities.
