Tragedy as late Kefee’s husband, Teddy Don-Momoh, loses new wife
Teddy Don-Momoh, the widower of late gospel star Kefee, has tragically lost his second wife, Lara Kudayisi Don-Momoh, just two weeks after they welcomed their first child together.
The news of her death was announced by her family via her Instagram page, revealing that Lara passed on after battling with an illness
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Lara Kudayisi Don-Momoh. After a brief illness, Coach Lara passed away peacefully,” the statement reads.
In this time of deep sorrow, the family kindly requested for privacy to mourn. They expressed their deep appreciation for prayers and condolences, noting that the funeral arrangements would be communicated at a later date.
“During this deeply painful time, we humbly ask for privacy and prayers for the peaceful repose of her soul, and for all who mourn this immeasurable loss. Further details regarding the funeral arrangements and other family matters will be communicated in due course. We sincerely thank everyone for the love, support, prayers, and understanding extended to the family during this difficult time,” the statement concluded.
Teddy Don-Momoh was previously married to renowned gospel singer Kefee, who died in June 2014 after battling a lung-related illness.
