“To embarrass our president on his birthday”-Cubana Chief Priest breaks silence on recent attack in Jos
Nigerian socialite and entrepreneur, Cubana Chief Priest has reacted to the recent killings of residents in Jos, Plateau State.
It would be recalled that gunmen attacked the Angwan Rukuba community on Palm Sunday, leaving 28 people dead and several others injured.
The attack occurred around 7:30 pm on March 29, 2026.
Cubana Chief Priest Speaks Out
In a lengthy Instagram post, Cubana Chief Priest, embroiled in a DNA controversy with his alleged baby mama Helen Attoh, claimed that the attack was launched to embarrass President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his birthday.
”I feel for everyone in Jos. This was clearly done to embarrass our president on his birthday”, He stated.
Extending sympathy to residents over the tragic incident, he urged security operatives to step up to their task and offered prayers for the deceased.
Caleb Mutfwang Breaks Silence
Meanwhile, the Governor of Plateau state, Caleb Mutfwang has silence on the recent attack.
He imposed a 48-hour curfew in Jos North to restore calm and allow security agencies to track down the perpetrators.
Additionally, the government has appealed to residents to remain calm, stay vigilant, and cooperate with security agencies by providing useful information.
