There’s No Main Opposition Party In Nigeria, They’re All Like Shrapnel From A Broken Vase -Keyamo

Festus Keyamo, the minister for Aviation and Aerospace Development has taken to his official X handle to describe opposition parties in Nigeria as non-existent.

According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that all opposition parties appear like shrapnel from a broken vase.

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Labour Party (LP), African Democratic Congress (ADC), amongst several others, according to Festus Keyamo, cannot be described as opposition parties.

Giving reasons for his statements, the aviation minister pointed out that the mentioned parties do not have what it takes to challenge the ruling APC.

He further asked a pulsating question regarding the yardstick used to measure the strength of an opposition party.

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, according to Festus Keyamo which stood a chance at challenging the APC was factionalized.
