Teacher Found Dead in His Room in Eastern Region

A 35-year-old teacher of Anweam R/C Primary School in Akyem Anweam in the Kwaebibirem Municipality of the Eastern Region has been found dead in his room under unclear circumstances.
A post shared on social media by Ghana Chronicles on June 10, 2026, says the teacher, identified as Atinka Joseph, was discovered in his room on Monday, June 8, 2026.
Reports say concerns were raised after attempts to reach him failed. A search later led to the discovery of his lifeless body in his room.

The body has been retrieved, and police have started investigations to find out what caused his death.
Residents in the area are in shock following the incident.
