Shocking video shows leopard barge into liquor store and maul terrified worker

A shocking video captured a leopard barging into a liquor store in India and pouncing on a terrified worker.

The ferocious animal leaped into what appeared to be a stocking area of the booze shop in Todaraisingh — and mauled the shopkeeper Sanjay Gurjar on Monday, according to the clip obtained by The Sun.

The male leopard, 5, swiped its razor-sharp claws at Gurjar, 25, and grabbed onto his shoulders before the worker managed to shake the beast free and frantically scurried out of the store.

People could be heard in the video screaming in terror as the pair tussled.

Gurjar managed to pull a shutter down to trap the wild animal inside the store before bolting to safety.

The leopard then prowled under shelves in the store, knocking over bottles, the clip showed.

“I somehow pushed the leopard away and ran towards the exit,” the shop owner told the outlet.

“As I ran, I pulled the shutter down. Then I lost consciousness.”

Additional CCTV footage also caught the leopard springing on another man, Fateh Lal Koli, 40, before climbing into the store and accosting Gurjar.

The leopard also attacked a volunteer forest worker while wandering into the northern Indian town just before 9 a.m., the outlet reported.

Wildlife specialists tracked the beast down and tranquilized it around 2 p.m., according to the report.

Gurjar suffered injuries to his hand, shoulder and nose, and the two other men were also injured in the horrifying attacks — although the extent of the injuries were unclear.
