Score! World Cup fans get free soccer-themed condoms to help them play the field

Safe sex is the gooooal!

World Cup fans in Toronto will get thousands of free, soccer-themed condoms when the city hosts the much-anticipated tournament this summer — to help them score safely.

Soccer buffs partying in Hogtown can play the field with six “limited edition” rubbers featuring sports puns such as “What a finish!’,” “Block those shots!” and “Ohhh, Canada.”

“Get ready to score safely,” city health officials said on X. “Whether you’re attending a soccer match, a watch party, hitting a summer festival or partying, remember that condoms protect the health of you and your partner(s).”

Innuendo-packed condom designs include an image of an emoji-style peach standing in a soccer goal,  blocking an eggplant as it tries to kick a ball into her “net,” along with images of players shielding their junk during a penalty kick.

The “game day line up” is meant to “promote safer sex, reduce stigma and connect people with sexual health services,” said Toronto Public Health, which is spearheading the giveaway.

The condoms will be given away at clinics and sites around the city “while supplies last.”

Toronto is one of 16 host cities across Canada, Mexico and the US that will host World Cup games in June and July, ending with the July 19 final at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
